Coaching is different than psychotherapy in that it is primarily focused on achieving an explicit aspiration.
Coaching is task oriented. It involves breaking goals down into small and achievable steps.
Inherent in coaching is a client’s commitment to working on these steps between sessions.
When achievement gets derailed; coaching examines the blocks that got in the way and what needs to be addressed so that the blocks are removed.

Many times people meet with me in order to accomplish a specific goal.
These goals can range from a transitioning to a new career, quitting cigarettes or becoming more assertive.
